what is the correct oem oil for this pump? The Stihl manual says ND30 or 15w40. Tag says SAE 30 so that’s what I’m leaning towards.

I looked on the Annovi Reverberi site and I believe the correct oil is their AR64516, but I don’t see anything referencing this pump exactly.

Here is a pic of the tag on the pump

My speculation here is that it needs oil used as hydraulic fluid. For that you can find a quart of ND30 (Non Degertent) oil at WalMart & of course 15w-40. Do they allow for any detergent 15w-40 b/c there are no non detergents of that grade on the shelf. I would say you'd want to reach out to Stihl & confirm beforehand.

Found the manual

Stihl sells their own oil which is readily available, but I was wondering about using the OE oil. Probably doesn’t matter either way.

This other pic is what I believe to be the OE oil but I can’t confirm. I suppose I can call Annovi and see what they say on Monday

I called today and spoke to one of their tech guys. They said either would work fine. I went ahead and bought a bottle of their blue oil on Amazon. I asked about the Stihl oil and they said it was most likely rebottled ND30, but didn’t know who it was made by.

I’ll change it out after about 5 hrs or so of runtime along with the engine oil.
