Sticky Lexus Dash

I've got a 2009 Lexus ES350 with 170,000 miles, which has been a very solid car.
There are several sticky spots on the horizontal portion of the dashboards, worse of course vin the hot weather.
I understand that this is a recognized issue, and some dashboards were replaced under warranty; I'm well past that window.
Is there any sort of sealer I can use to cover these spots? There are dash covers available (I have one on my 1970 MGB), but I'm not sure that I want to go there just yet.

Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Peter

Have you contacted the dealer about this?
I know your car is old, but Lexus has been know to address this issue well outside of the warranty.

17 years is way beyond warranty unfortunately but if it was mine I would get a dash cover for it and try to forget about it. I had some sticky console stuff going on with my accord and thankfully they were easier parts to remove than the dash. I stripped them to bare plastic and painted them with krylon fusion satin black. Look great years later and not sticky.
