Sticking parking brake

I have rarely used the parking brake on the Burb but just moved into a place with a steep enough driveway that it is now used on a daily basis. The problem I am having is that the parking brake is not fully disengaging when I pull the brake release lever. The parking brake pedal pops up, but when I start to drive away, I can feel some resistance from the parking brake still being partially engaged. Once I get about 100-200 yards down the road, I can hear and feel the brakes finally fully release (kinda pops) and I begin rolling much easier.

Is there some sort of adjustment I need to do?

Sounds like it may have some contamination build up from not being used. I'd try driving around 20mph and applying the parking brake several times in a row to see if that took care of it.

If it still sticks, inspect the linkage/cables underneath the vehicle to see if there are spots where they are not moving freely.

And if you decide to get underneath to inspect the lines, have someone engage and disengage the line to see how it's moving if it's not immediately clear.

I had those same symptoms on my Mazda 3. I caught it in time so that the cable wasn't frozen solid. Basically the linkage that is exposed to elements started losing its protective coating and was a bit rusty. I cleaned everything up and lubed the cable with some chain lube and everything went back to normal.
