And what is up with that? Why is gay not censored but the female version is?

Probably because there are enough members around here who are old enough to remember the use of the phrase, "We're all happy and gay!" I can't say that I've ever heard anyone exclaim, "We're all happy and [censored]!"

ROFL!

That's fairly classic, purely as a play on words....

I also never knew Stevie was Gay, don't care here, and doesn't make a "bit'o'difference" to me.

If I may get a little "OT" here, I have read where the MODS on this board get a little flack...I personaly would like to commend them. I see here, where Openly, members can disagree, and question the MODS actions, and it is taken with paitience and good graces. Another forum I went back too after being absent for 2 years, now has a rule stating that "Open" questioning of the MODS is forbidden, and must be done "privatly" Wow....

So much for a truely open forum. My point being is that I greatly appreciate BITOG!

He (StevieC) was not banned because of his lifestyle choices. I'm sure we can all agree on that. To some people, he was helpful; to others, he was a pain. We at the site management level heard about him often, both pro and con. However, he was banned because of repeated violations of forum rules. The action did not come out of the blue; he was warned many times, broke rules several times, and tempted fate to a point where he was permanantly banned. End of story.

This site is about all things lubricant related. This is a business enterprise. There are contractual obligations to the vendors. The owner has the right to set guidelines. There are, frankly, issues unbeknownst to the membership at large that the owner and staff must deal with. We allow "general and off topic" discussions as a means for people to share comments, not to go bounding about with no regard for the rules. Members are not banned for their life choices; they are disciplined for their actions in violation of rules.

We appreciate and enjoy the contributions of all members, when the topics are within the nature and confines of the rules. We have a VERY broad, diverse, worldwide membership. We are the better for it. We thank everyone that visits, becomes a member, and shares. We simply ask (and enforce) that you stay within the confines of the rules.
