My blazer needs a new steering gear that I believe it’s made by Saginaw. Can anyone recommend a brand?

Rock Auto has a new unit made by Lares. eBay has a new unit made by Detroit Axle. There’s also rebuilt units from Redhead. Seems to be the cheaper option too minus core charges.

I don’t want Cardone.

Redhead. A lot of the Wrangler guys use them and they seem to have the best quality. Avoid the Rockauto steering boxes and anything from the parts store.

According to their site, it looks like this is the same steering box used in some Jeep models?

Seems somewhat contradicting because it’s saying it’s for the Wrangler, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee. I thought the Grand had a larger steering gear, but I don’t know for sure.

They should be the same between those Jeeps, the only box that is similar but has different gearing is the Durango steering box.
