No, not as in steroids! I'm 41 and lets just say m life is packed with way tooooo much pressure/stress whatever you wanna call it. I roll with things pretty well BUT family history and such shows propensity to high blood pressure.

I was recently in a ATV crash that got me pretty good; hospital visit n all and lucky not to have blown my spleen or liver. Leave it at that. While there my BP was way 2 high. I'm not a big Dr kinda guy. I take no meds and never have, rarely get sick, but I do get sore throats often. I haven't been hitting the gym like usual and now have 25extra lbs.

I only went to the dr in the first place because 1) a trooper near me died days after helping a guy out of a small plane crash with much the same injury as me. And our police surgeon is a proff of med locally. SO I text him a pic and he gets me into ER right away. All good but that is where I see the no gym has taken its toll on weight and BP.

I refuse meds and say give me a few weeks and we will recheck it. He says fine BUT why not think about getting a juicer or using your blender go google it and do it.

Well, I did get a Jack Lalain juicer and have been doing 1 veggie and 1 fruit juice drink a day. BP already down a good amount and as of 2-morrow I an clear to get back to the gym from the quad accident.

I highly recommend the juicer!!!! Just thought I would share.

I was going to make fun, but your first sentence ruined it for me! haha

I bought a Magic Bullet once to make smoothies and loved it! It worked better than coffee for me in the morning (though I was still a coffee fiend!)

Liquor isn't my thing BUT if you made me decide between caffeine and beer/wine??? I'd prob go insane. Coffee is MY FRIEND!

Congrats! We have had a champion juicer for years and love it. While there is validity to the argument of eating your nutrition rather than wasting the fiber, if one ensures they have sufficient fiber and other dietary necessities, then it does allow for some tasty and nutritious hydrating treats.

I'd avoid celery though if BP is a concern. Iirc it's high in salt and nitrates.

It amazes me how few people actually believe that a few servings of fruits and vegetables a day can make a big difference. It works.

I sold my Jack LaLanne juicer. It worked fine. I just became tired of disassembling it to clean it everytime I used it. What a mess.
