Hello gentlem and ladies and what Stanley Cup memories do the young/older folks here remember? I remember both the 91' and 92' PITT PENGUINS cups. I was heartbroken when PENGUINS lost to the RED WINGS in 08' also. Also, where was the old Brenden Byrnes arena that the NEW JERSEY DEVILS won their cup in 1995?

thanks in advance folks,

Adam in PITT PA

HUH? It is in the Meadowlands, 16W on the NJT.

Not a Vup memory, but I was a fan of the Minnesota North Stars.

I have several North Stars Highball glasses & a rack of 5000 North Stars Napkins. Got them at their last game.

When the Blackhawks won very recently. We were at Mullen's which is pretty much dead-center on Clark Street where all the bars surrounding Wrigley Field are. Game-winning shot slides in and everyone is silent until they realized it was a goal...and then thousands of us spilled into the streets. Here's a video I shot.

39 years we waited, finally a cup. This year started slow with a hangover, but now the B's are on a tear again. Looking good for a repeat, but us old timers know better.

Yeah, the Bruins are playing "lights out" hockey this season, hard to believe they are in my eyes, better than last season.

I was at Duffys bar in Lincoln park. When everyone saw the puck go in the place just erupted. It was a amazing night.

During the 2nd period my roommate accidentally broke his glass and it cut my girlfriends pinkie finger and she needed stitches(7 of them). She refused to go and toughed it out till the hawks won. We danced and celebrated then went right to the ER.

Your roommate needs to put a ring that woman's (uncut) finger *ASAP*.

Montreal (my team!) and Patrick Roy.

Firstly, this guy, Stanley Cup should change his name.

That Penguin win in '92 is particularly painful as the Rangers were in control of their playoff series with Pittsburgh when Mike Richter let Ron Francis put one in goal on a shot from the red line.

Waited two years to end the 1940 curse in 1994.

3rd time in the decade that a championship went to Dallas instead of Buffalo.

Whine all you want about "no goal". The NHL ruled that rebounding off of the goalie did not constitute a possession change. Hull had possession of the puck and the tip of his skate could be there.

Thanks gents for the memories, and yeah I remember the first two PENGUINS cups back to back well, and didnt know if we had enough to win it in 09', glad we did though.
