It's an interesting anomaly. You can have theories about it, but the scientific method is about repeatable, reproducible results.

Otherwise it's all just theory without any hard data to back any of it up.

There were multiple anomolies

Data from a spy-1 Is better than data from anywhere else.

The Deities of the Sumerians/Egyptians/Foo Fighters (WW2) are all the same. They never left us. Always watching.

"Dr. Garry Nolan, an immunologist"

I hope he also isn't trying to lead us..........last guy..........well..............

There probably are some other life forms, but they have not reached us.

yet.

Might be awhile.

Please post the entire article but I can already tell you that you can't "break" the laws of physics. If you "break" them then they're broken and not valid and you're just wrong about the physics. There are no examples in the universe, natural or otherwise, where physics behave one way here and another way there. Even in the most extreme natural events like black holes and neutron stars.

You cant and I cant, nor can anyone we know of - but they can, and we've watched them do it for decades.

I wish they would change the name from the History channel to the UFO channel. Basically the equivalent of clickbait. Still waiting for them to roll out the bodies and the actual aircraft, so far all smoke and mirrors.

Agreed. We've heard these same stories for years.

We've got about about as much chance at grabbing one as the mascho piro tribe does shooting down an f22.

Our opinions dont matter much anymore- disclosure has happened and is happening.

The laws of physics that we know do not support the kind of long distance travel that any visits would necessitate. Anything and everything else is science fiction.
Who's to say the aliens haven't altered or evolved their metabolism and lifespan such that one second for them is like one year for us? A hundred thousand year voyage through the galaxy would be just like a 2 week vaca (at 10% the speed of light) for them.

Time and distance are both constants. Notice that the speed of light is calculated by distance over time, so light speed is also a constant. Special relativity states that nothing can go faster than the speed of light. If something were to exceed this limit, it would move backward in time, which is not possible. Even the most brilliant scientists and mathematicians have not discovered a law of physics that overcomes this. Special Relativity also states that a vessel's mass also increases with increasing speed. A vessel at light speed would have infinite mass!

I think you missed my point that even though the distances are vast, if the aliens have long lifespans, that wouldn't matter.

I've been photographing meteors and aurora since 1999. I live near an airport, and also have a wall of windows through which I observe all the aircraft in the jetstream, satellites, and meteors passing across the sky.

I've seen a Space-X satellite train (spooky-looked very close-by).

I've seen three UFOs.

After just a bit of introspection, and a little intelligence, I identified them as a firework, the planet Jupiter, and an airplane coming in for a landing. Even with all my nighttime viewing, I was fooled.

For those few of you who aren't actively trying to fool yourselves, I highly recommend these two sites:

https://www.metabunk.org/home/
https://skeptoid.com/

As for the US services 'announcements', google the term "disinformation". All the posters here should be old enough to be skeptical.
