I was only my way to having most tools run on a 18V Dewalt XBR. Having a drill, impact wrench, 2 vacuums and a flashlight. But I was at HomeDepot today and the Dewalt tools they were pushing were 20V LIon and some 12V ones. No 14V or 18V. They did have some of the individual tools (for 14V or 18V), but the sets now are the 20V LIons. The LIon battery now slide on rather than push on straight.
I am just about to buy a 2 pack of Dewalt 18V XPR batteres on Amazon for $99(anyone want to split it?).
The only other tool I am considering is an impact driver. The carpenter says that is what he uses 99% of the time to drive screws.
I was hoping Dewalt would expand their line of 18V and offer both NiCad and LIon batteries in the same form factor.
