Alright, so here it goes. This is on a 1970 Suzuki Cutlass F50 Scooter.
I picked it up at 144 miles. cleaned the tank, added a fuel filter, cleaned the carb, changed the transmission fluid, tightened all nuts and bolts, and use MMO in the gas. about 1-2OZ per gal at every fill up. adjusted the oil delivery for a drop extra.
Running GREAT till a couple days ago @ 322 miles it would sometimes just stall out at idle. It would not fire back up choke or no choke. not getting gas so take out spark plug its dry, put gas on the tip of that and re-install, fires right up and runs well..
same thing when its warm, if you turn it off with the key, chances are it will not start back up for about 10-15 mins, unless you put a drip of gas on the spark plug.
Im thinking it carb related again, but just wanted to run it past the pros before i clean it again.
The carb runs well at any speed just not idle, plug looks perfect, 125+PSI comp, tightened all nuts and bolts again, just to make sure, runs 33MPH+ down the road and powers up hills with Tq to spare. Thanks!
