Great race. Let me tell you those competition cautions are not popular in the stands. Haha. They explained the last planned one, and respect to Robbins, but those cautions broke up some good racing.

Fyi, the drivers dont drive the cars out onto the track, and they dont drive them off the track after the race. Srx staff does.

I kind of like the cautions. It seems like it keeps one person from creating an insurmountable lead. Breaking up the racing is sort of annoying though.

I dont mind it when the racing gets strung out, but there was some good racing got cut short. I think if the racing is good and close, especially for the lead, let em race.

Well fellas I don't have a lot of pictures, but I went to watch racing not take photos. I'll share what I did get. Had a great time and got to see a lot of legendary drivers.

My final thoughts are this: if you live close(1-3 hours) away from a track holding a SRX race next year, go. I paid 35.00 for my mid level seats and got to see the JEGS/CRA Master of the pros late model race and the SRX race. I was close enough to the driver introduction stage that I could make the drivers out. For 15 bucks extra I could've bought a pit pass and toured the pits during the practice/qualifying sessions. I got to see living legends of racing but on a whale of a show for super cheap. Glad I went. Also, if you live near a short track, go watch the local cats. You wont regret the experience. 🙂
