Hi,
Considering putting in a split ductless system in my home. Would like to set up a single outdoor condenser which can feed multiple zones.
Thus my questions:
- if I run a big condenser with multiple zone connectivity, but run only one zone at low levels, is this an issue? For example, if I have a 30k+ btu condenser but are only running one zone at 5000BTU, could this be an issue?
- if I get a multi-zone system, but don't connect up all zones, could this be an issue?
- how do split ductless systems deal with condensation? I assume that each air handler has it's own gravity drain out of the home and down to the ground? The benefit of split is the fact that there is just two pipes and a wire or two... So I assume that there is just another tube?
- are there known issues or considerations with these high efficiency inverter type >20SEER systems?
