You can get bosch copper cored plugs that are the "standard" we are all used to. Just not many parts stores stock them. They are heavily into platinum though and you can get them at walmart. But the heat ranges etc may not exactly be spot on so they can stock fewer part #s.

If you are looking for MPGs though forget it your OBDII will complain if you have any misfiring going on.

If you are looking at a cheaper alternative to AC Delco plugs try NGK. NGK makes most of AC Delco's plugs and they are more expensive than NGK brand. I know for my girlfriends Cavalier the OE Delco platinums were like $5.00 a piece and the NGK Platinums were like $2.00 a piece and they have been in there now for around 12k with the exact same performance and economy.

went to the motorcycle drags the other day. they use autolite plugs, oh i forgot thats race only. theres a few things that happen when you get old, but i forget what they are.
