I would install whatever the factory installed. every hear anything bad about OEM plugs?
Yeah the OEM plugs in China engines SUCK.
But your point is good. Just go with OEM or OEM style. Fancy doesn't buy much if anything.

People get down on oil blenders having marketing campaigns...their barrage of marketing is nothing compared to companies that manufacture and distribute spark plugs! Follow OEM and get many more years of service...yours were probably Delco Platinum plugs.

GM truck GM made engine? Or are they farming them out to China now to save a few bucks.

Accually I am getting 17.5 on this tank about 70% hyway it is stock 90K on it I did increase air pressure about 10# and did a seafoam treatment Next is auto RX in engine and trans was getting 15 to 16 did a seafoam treatment
I am still wanting to try iridium plugs but maybe not the bosch I hear good things about Delco and Denso But Bosch I hear a lot of problems even burning out coils

you won't gain hp or mileage from iridium plugs. The only reason for their use is longevity.

Absolutely no Bosch plugs.
I don't see you getting much mpg increase no matter what with a large engined, heavy awd.

I would avoid Bosch spark plugs. They are too iffy. Their new designs just have problems and misfires. Their old ones were great.
Other Bosch products can be superb, though.
Like the guys said - get factory [probably AC Delco] plugs.

Don't waste your time trying to gain fuel economy out of a truck with spark plugs and wires for your true problem has to do with vehicle weight itself that the engine has to propel (+occupant(s)) and your gain will be so minor that you'll be better off doing with bicycles or smaller displacement/lighter weight vehicles.

I was raised to put Champions in a Mopar, Autolites in a Ford, and AC Delco in a GM. This formula has never let me down yet.

Motorcraft in a Ford. I've had Autolites act up a couple of times in a Ford. Got em in my Jeep and they are ok so far.

That's funny. My Bosch haven't self-destructed in my Sunfire, or my mom's Civic...
I know that Bosch plugs were the absolute worst to have in a GM 3800 V6 because the plug can't handle the waste spark system.
NGK have yet to let me down.
