Spare tire lock

So after a decade of use the key lock that blocks the spare tire winch on my 2011 seized up. I kept it regularly treated with fluid film but I figure between the salty winters and all the crud that gets kicked up it was a combination of corrosion and cruddiness. The new truck is still looking good but what would be better than fluid film? I’m thinking either boeshield T9 or amsoil HDMP- both of which I have- since they dry out and shouldn’t pick up crud.

Not sure what that fluid film is but I don't think any lock manufacturers specify it. Most say either a graphite lube or silicone, maybe even WD40.
