Low SAPS or high SAPS debate. I do not know enough as you guys are smarter than me but throw the low SAPS and everyone without a spec of oil thinking would want low SAPS. (equals IVD?)

Sorry I’m still not sure what you mean. Unless an engine is suffering from abnormal blow-by or if you’re operating with a high sulfur content fuel I don’t see a problem with a low(er)-SAPS oil. What are you losing by doing so?
