Just wanted to share what i picked up at Walmart. The Pennzoil conventional with MC Oil filter will be for my 03 Lincoln Aviator

the QSDefy with ACdelco will be for my 1999 Olds Cutlass

abd the other QSDefy with Purolater Classic oil filter will be for my 02 Mitsu Galant

Ill be changing the oil for all 3 vehicles on the first saturday of April. i went conventional simply because i plan to do 2 OC's a year and i wont even be going above 2500 miles on all three cars. Maybe ill be close on the aviator but its ok.

Just wanted to share my upcoming oil change.

Sounds pretty good to me. All good choices. Try not to get the ecore for the Delco. If you can find the filter without the E on the end grab it. Better filter then the Champs...

i wouldnt fear the E-core. it will be 100% ok for 2500 even 5k miles. im betting all the GM dealers are putting E-core filters on new gm cars. these run 7-10k miles by the OLM and we have yet to hear tales of the E-core killing new caddys

the oil selection looks good! the motorcraft filter is and A+ choice for the Aviator.

I like this post. It makes perfect sense.

6 months - 2500 miles seems like overkill to me. That GM 3.1 should be able to go 1 year 5000 easy. Probably more.
