Looking at the MSDS for SOPUS products, I hadn't previously realized that Pennzoil Ultra Euro 5w40 was / is a "Mixture of Polyalphaolefins and additives"

The replacement product, Platinum Euro 5w40 (and PE0w40), state "Fischer-Tropsch derived base oil. Highly refined mineral oils and additives. The highly refined mineral oil is only present as additive diluent". The 0w40 additionally has "Blend of polyolefins, highly refined mineral oil and additives"

Note there are two versions / product codes / names for the 5w40, both say the same but one is Amber color one is clear.

The elusive Ultra Euro 0w40 just had a Feb MSDS update and says "Synthetic base oil and additives. The highly refined mineral oil is only present as additive diluent".

The QS UD Euro 5w40 has had an update in Feb and is as the new Pennzoil Platinum Euro Xw40 oils in terms of composition description.

The QS UD Euro 5w30 also updates in Feb but does not reveal its base oil. Otherwise it is similar to QS UD Euro 5w40 except the 40 had to disclose several chemicals for New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The disclosed components in the QS 40 are similar to those in the elusive Ultra Euro 0w40.
