Songs that you simply never liked? Or can't stand.

And I couldn't even name you another KISS song aside from that "I want to rock and roll all night, and party everyday." 🌽
Beth, Heaven's on Fire, Detroit Rock City, Lick it Up, Tears Are Falling, Crazy Crazy Nights, Strutter, Shout It Out Loud... C'mon, they weren't even my generation and I can name those off the top of my head!

I'm a fan of almost all Metallica songs. Even you old school die-hards have to admit All Nightmare Long and especially The Day That Never Comes shows they still had the chops well into the 2000s. Kirk and Lars are legends.
Kirk is hardly a legend. He is legendary in the luck department. Horrible lead guitar player. Take away his wah pedal and he is completely useless.

Mustaine was outplaying Kirk after two weeks of lessons. I will say Kirk has pretty good showmanship. But Metallica has always been James and Lars. Everyone else is just a sideman and easily replaceable.

You know how this comes off right? :ROFLMAO:

Day That Never Comes feels like it was forced to be longer than it should have been. It's not bad though. I do think Spit Out the Bone is one of the best songs they have written since Justice.

Kirk only really writes the solos* and he has a definite style he doesn't really move away from. That's true of most guys though. There are videos on YouTube of James and Lars writing the songs for Hardwired, each song is about a ten minute video and Kirk is pretty much nowhere to be found. He shows up and writes the solos when the songs are otherwise finished.

*Save for some exceptions like the main Sandman riff

You are correct on that, it's pretty much "par for the course". Zoltan Bathory I believe writes most of the 5FDP stuff and then Jason Hook would come up with the solos, hell, Motley Crue was the same way, most of the material was written by Nikki.

I've always been a fan of Kirk's style and they are amazing live of course.

I really like the bass/guitar solos from '93 in Mexico City, I thought that was really well done.

Mumford and Sons are easily the worst band ever. The vocals are like hot pepper projectile diarrhea on a concrete floor after a three day spiced beans and broccoli bender. The rhythm is irritatingly off beat like the random cacophony of a hammer factory. The melody carries like two squealing belts on an engine with seized AC and smog pump in a car with a broken rod and wailing transmission and moaning differential.

Dave Matthews is a no-talent clown as well.

Here's another one that can't sing
And another horrible song
That will have me diving for the radio
Before the horrible sounds that are supposed to be vocals come in
Sounds like a drunk male Stevie Nick's

I never got all of the hype over Springsteen...the guy couldn't carry a tune in a bucket...
