It is not a semi-permanent coating, but its characteristics are very close to a coating.

I'd run this on top of the nano paint protect.

Not sure by itself.

I like the brilliant shine QD, but given the zaino system with Z-CS, not sure if there is a compelling reason to switch.

This stuff is supposed to offer unparalleled water beading compared to anything else on the market. Based on what the video was showing, I would expect the car to stay a lot cleaner in-between washes.

IIRC the product was originally developed for use on top of paint coatings, but works very well on its own.

Key words, "up to"

Well, there are simply too many variables...unless it's a coating like opti-coat 2.0.

That's my point for the sonax nano paint protect. This stuff should layer on top of that. The nano is a year long protection, but I'd guess more with the layers of other stuff.

4-6 months is already pretty good, IMO. It's rare that any sealant lasts more than a couple months, anyway. Most of those year-long claims are bogus.

Therefore, I don't see why Sonax NetShield is not a solid choice for a stand-alone LSP.

Unparalleled water beading isn't a reason to make me use a product. That attribute doesn't necessarily indicate any other attribute of the product (plus the car I'd use it on only gets wet when I wash it). For me it's all about the shine, if it can be unparalleled at that, then I'm sold.

I had read the same thing as you guys, it was designed as a "topper" for Sonax Nano Protect (which we don't have in this market.......yet-hopefully) however it is a fantastic and durable coating that is for sure. The water beading is unbelievable, and it seems to be extremely durable so far.

The dirt repellency seems to be pretty darn good:

Wow that's pretty impressive. I'm seeing something similar with the Menzerna Power Lock. They applied a small amount of road salt yesterday (totally unneeded) and while my TSX continues to get dirtier, the MDX with Power Lock is remaining much cleaner.

Holy smokes that's amazing. One of the best side by side comparisons I've ever seen. Cross the CS off the list.
