For those who use 2 stroke oil

Quote:
* LXE provides optimum thermal stability. It will not readily break down, even under the most extreme heat and pressure. This is exceptionally important as it allows for unmatched upper cylinder lubrication. Lack of upper cylinder lubrication is the main cause of 2 cycle engine seizures.

* If that isn’t enough, LXE will actually soften old carbon deposits from years of use and storage, allowing deposits to be eliminated through normal combustion.

I just may go with 2 cycle premix this year for the 2 cycle OPE. Maybe I would use 2 QTs/year across chain saws, weed whackers and leaf blowers?

But I do buy Walmart ST 2 cycle oil by the gallon to add to diesel fuel for my Dodge w/Cummins. Mainly because diesel fuel is so darn cheap these days that I can afford extra $$ on the 2 cycle oil to provide more lubrication for the VP injector pump.

This is good news, especially at our weak doses.
My benefit concerns are the fuel pump, then the top end [rings/bores and valves stems] .
