High School ended for me in 1964, then 2 yrs of college, then 66-70 USNavy. Songs that were popular then, funny how those songs stay in your mind.

Those are good songs, a little before my time, but I remember most of them, all good. Hey! It's Herman's Hermits and "Silhouettes" (on the shades), fer cryn' out loud, he's on the wrong block! Maybe I remember them a little better than I imagine...

A couple of years ago I gathered "one hit wonders" from the time I was interested in pop music. Ended up burning three CDs: '70-'74, '75-'80, '81-'84. It was in interesting project and a nice little trip down memory lane.

Speaking of Beach Blanket Bingo, I just got the complete set of Frankie and Annette movies on DVD. I loved watching those movies as a kid in the early 70s.

As a self proclaimed Beatlemaniac I feel there was no better era for music than the 60s!
