If you have money you are a target to be sued and you will need to buy insurance on top of insurance to protect yourself, and your insurance companies tell you what to do and you do it, or your freedom will earn you a dropped insurance policy. Freedom is not free literally if you have money.
One thing about big tech buying nuke is, small fly politicians won't have the campaign funding to go up against a big tech giant, and big tech giants can out campaign those losers to lose the next election term. That's the real power.
The hard part is to convince the home owners that nuke is good for them. Sadly we will likely need to reach 90c/kwh for some of us to wake up and endorse nuke instead of CCGT and solar + wind.
