Soft Chirp at startup

Hey guys my honda started a faint chirp on cold starts or after its been sitting more then 3 hours. Just started doing this last week when the weather dropped under 30 degrees. I think its a slipping belt. The car has 125 thousand miles. The belts were changed 6 years ago

Age and engine heat do take their toll on belts regardless of mileage.

If it has a tensioner, it could be weak too. The Gatorback/Continental Elite belts help with this issue, if they’re available.

I would replace the belt and tensioner.

If new belts don't solve it I'd be looking at the starter.
