just wanting to see what kind of feedback from users who already have been using FF 3.0...

any issues? are most of the add ons/themes now ok?
impressed? disappointed?

let's hear what you all think...

Thanks!

I installed it and immediately went back to 2.x My computer rebooted itself right after I opened my homepage... just launching FF.

I like it - as per TNS's comments, it also seems faster than FF2. I'm running it at work

and at home under Linux.

It is working well on my computers also. I like pressing the F11 key to get more viewing area. Tool bar is hidden, which makes the view better in my opinion. Not sure this was available in version 2? I have used it a lot in IE. However, with version 7 it would only work with the first page I opened, not the second one?

Well..I installed FF3 & everything looked fine until I noticed that (I dont use tabs) when I am on a website & then open up another it does not open up into another window,it opens up in the same window. Also tried tabs & that does not work..What a royal mess!I posted the problem on a FF chat site & no answers. So My vote for FF3 is a big fat Turkey!

Overall, I really like it. Saw a definite improvement in speed from the first day. I've experienced one known issue where FF3 sometimes fails to terminate properly, requiring me to kill the task in task manager before re-starting FF3 (in my case it's part of standby/resume) - FF2 didn't have this issue. It's minor and I'm sticking with FF3 (especially since the Noia eXtreme theme has been released for FF3).

Works great for me. The first thing I noticed after installing on my work tablet pc was how much fasting it loaded compared to FF 2.0

This was the biggest plus for me

Icky stuff, I hate the interface.

Have it at work on a multi-user computer so IDK how much control I have. Went through the standard menus and didn't find what I like.

The two-line address bar that pops up for autocomplete is distracting-- may or may not get used to it.

I'm pretty sure that those are all setting in the preferences that you can setup.
