SnowBlower preseason prep!

Just pulled mine out of the shed, AFTER the 6" of "little or no accumulation expected" that we just had on the CT shore.

Fired on the first pull after pressing the primer 3 times. Gotta love the old L-head Tecumsehs (I keep it maintained so no over-revving with bad oil blowing the connecting rod). My current blower has only seen GC.

As always, pull the shear bolts, add grease to the auger zerks and spin the augers on the shaft. Replace shear bolts.

Coat the auger area, augers and chute with SC Johnson paste wax. Check air in tires. Good to go.

I let it run for about five min. I then turned it off and topped off the fuel.

I can't wait for this Winter season! I hope the snow falls all winter long!!!

For those wondering, I have Shell 89 octane fuel in it with a double dose of marine stabil, and for oil, I am using Redline 5w30.

I have same exact blower. Starts first pull after two primer shots every time.

I use premium (can be found with 0 ethanol around here), MMO and stabil. Runs like a champ that blower does
