Snow Blower Chute Build-Up

I have the same Toro 824 with the original Tecumseh 7.5. It works better than the new ones that I have seen. Just ran it wide open for several hours with the 17 inches of wet snow we got the past 2 days. I have the original tires yet that don't get the greatest traction. I had chains but they wore completely through and fell off.

I have a 1984 Toro 724. I re-powered it with a 7.75hp OHV Briggs and have a thread floating around here somewhere. I re-painted the chute on mine with intentions of doing the impeller kit as well.

I never got around to the impeller kit, and honestly it throws very well without it, so I can put it off a little while longer until I have time.

I rebuild 1960's Ariens machines and re-power them for customers. While they are simple and very heavy duty, I prefer the throwing distance and ease of operation the Toro has.
