t My grandson is a newly minted Ford Tech right out of school. The instructors all recommended snap on for tools, but the cost was way too expensive. He worked previously at a shop who used NAPA as their main supplier and NAPA store owner got him all he needed for half price or less. Still not cheap but the tools still work just fine for him right now. Good lesson to learn early.

I've said it before, but I can't imagine being a mechanic who owes their soul to the Snap-On truck.

Smart move. If a tool fails to do a job he can upgrade to a more premium brand as needed. Im sure he wont need a $100 plug socket.

Lots of lifetime warranty stuff out there now.

We’re also assuming snap on stays in business which they won’t once even the faithful move on and the EV mechanics buy from Fluke.
I will say that at some price point that even diehard Snapon customers will be hesitant to buy. I'm not familiar with fluke. I thought they made meters etc.
