Hi,

What would be the absolute smoothest, most comfortable riding touring tire for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE Value Edition? Size 205/55/16, 91H.

Thanks

Do you still have the original tires on it? Almost any touring tire will ride better than the OE tires.

How important is snow/winter? Do you use separate winter tires? If not, consider 3-peak all-season tires, such as:
Vredestein Quatrac 5
Toyo Celsius
Goodyear Weatherready
Nokian WRG4
Hankook Kinergy 4S2

The smoothest, most comfortable ride would be to downsize to 195/65-15 on 15" wheels.

A full-size spare will fit in the spare tire well of your Elantra.

Tagged this thread. The factory Kumhos on my Elantra only have 25k miles but are getting noisy.

Yes, the Bridgestone QuietTrack & the Continental TrueContact TOUR along with the Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S PLUS II, will all be a nice smooth riding/quiet tire. Tweak your criteria for tires as far as how you need & use your vehicle and if you will be using dedicated winter tires.
