Some are like that, but others (like me) have seen it all and keep everything low end and basic.

When you've seen how everything work in the background, nothing is so special and exciting anymore.

Yeah but stuck-up corporate types like some that work in our office need a phone that just works and gets the job done, not one that can tell you what song you are listening to in a Starbucks when you are getting your morning "Wake me the $#!@ up double-shot" latte

my wife and I just got blackberry storms (for free, verizon had BOGO, and w/ my $50 upgrade incentive, the 1st one was free also).
the touch screen is excellent, pandora radio is great, checking email is fast and easy, I can snap photos and post to my blog in a few seconds, twitter is fast, and since I'm on verizon, calls never get dropped (unlike AT&T, which really su cks around here).
everyone says the iphone has more apps, but how many are you going to use? I use pandora, weatherbug, a local news app, twitter, facebook. everything else is just distracting toys. I thought the bubble level on the iphone was cool, until I checked a few and saw how uselessly inaccurate it was.

Hate to ruin the party, but you do know that the Storm 2 will be launching in a matter of weeks, right?

but I'm sure it won't be free :)
I'm not really much of an early adopter, so I'd rather have the 1st gen since it's been out awhile. new launches are always plagued w/ issues.

Normally I would agree with you, but the reason why the Storm 2 is being introduced is because the first Storm was an epic fail.

If you plan to keep the phone anyway, go on www.crackberry.com and download the beta OS for your phone.

Hows this for Irony... I'm telling you guys how good my BlackBerry is and it died today... I was in the middle of typing an e-mail and it shut off. I plugged it in and it wouldn't charge.

I took it to a Rogers (Carrier in Canada) store where I got it and they had a look and tried a new battery.

The unit is toast.

What PMO though is that our company is a month away from giving us the I-phone. I will miss my BlackBerry. We had great times together...

The guy who wrote that article is a total dumb fu*k. He doesn't even know the definition of the term "smartphone" & anyone who thinks the iPhone was the pioneer of smartphones is either a absolute retard or a paid shill.

LOL. Tell us what you really think. I'll have to ask the guys at work what they think of this....
