sludge- maintainence or motor

I see sludge-filled engines when a Turbo car is run on dino for 3000 miles.

For everything else, I see sludge from going more than 6000 miles per oil change.

I think you must be right.
Oil today is much better than oil was even ten years ago.
I would think that most manufacturers have figured out what not to do in terms of design, especially the PCV setup, as well as requiring sensible maintenance intervals.
I think we all know the usual engine suspects wrt sludge.
If one should own such an engine, you know that you need to change the oil regularly and you know that at least a GRP III is probably best.
I'd like to ask a question of all the wise people here:
If I own a known sludger, would I be ahead looking for a high HTHS oil?

Can be both neglect and poor engine design. Most is from poor engine design.

Never had an issue with sludge that I ever noticed in 32 yrs of owning alot of vehicles.
