Slob with M1

Hey guys, after seeing its price ive gained interest in SLOB, how will it mix with Mobil 1 5w30 in a nissan Vq30de in a 98 Infiniti I30 with 92k, the car holds 4.5 Qts IIRC so would a whole bottle be good to use? i do a mix of driving, in Rochester NY, so i get all sorts of weather, the car isnt beat up too much, but not driven to easily either, how long could i go on OCI's with this, i currently do 5k, ohh and i use FP and LC too

Right now I have a mix of SLOB and Syntec 5W50 in my Saab. It specs 4.1 quarts so I put in 4 qts of Syntec and overfilled it with a whole pint bottle of SLOB.

Well, it's hard to tell as I've never run 50 wt before! I cannot tell any loss in mpg, though. 9-5's are known to butcher oil so I wanted the best protection I could get in this heat.

shouldn't be an issue

I've run it in my 98 I30 with Mobil 1 10w30 for the last 5000 miles without issue. I use a full bottle of SLOB

Cool, thanks guys, i raided my local big lots (sorry rochester guys, fairort and hennrieatta(which i cant spell) are just about empty) but my basment has about 60 bottles in it...Muhaha, cant beat it at that price ($1) anyone know of a VOA on it?

fwiw, VQ engines seem to like GC
but I think you have a VG30DE...
