SLIP 2000 Users ?

SLIP 2000 here on my AR, stainless 1911 and M18 (1911 and M18 slide rails are supplemented with TW25). other than $, no complaints. The little ~1oz bottle with the needle oiler is very handy.
Seems to work as good as any other CLP but no smell and I suspect possibly less carcinogens. If $ was lower I would try the 30w. The EWL flavor is even higher, and I don't think worth it for a regular Joe
FWIW: Their basic degreaser is nothing special; will not buy again. The Carbon Cutter stuff in the green jar is nice (Acts like what I expected their basic stuff to ); not nearly as powerful as Hopper #9 or others; little to no smell, I suspect it is in the same class as simple green or spray-9... seems water based; dries slowly and on your fingers feels like a soap residue, I'm plain sure steel would rust to hell if not oiled after use, so I would not carelessly use it in areas you cannot clean/dry/re-oil. Again, this stuff does not burn thru carbon as the name implies you will need something more hardcore, probably out of a brown jar.

I use plain ol' EWL too...... pistols only. Use Superlube tube from Harbor Freight for light grease on the rails.
I bought the SLIP 2000 EWL previously just for semi-auto target pistols . Probably not the best useage for the EWL version as I’m not shooting a high rate of fire full auto firearm . I happen to also have Super Lube grease as well as Super Lube Oil which I plan to experiment with on rails, barrel lugs , etc. but not inside the barrels (due to Teflon content) . Supposedly , when Teflon is exposed to high heat on metal - it can cause micro cracks in the metal . Lastly , I may experiment mixing the Super Lube grease with the Super Lube oil to form a different consistently . I’ve read where users of M1 synthetic grease have added M1 synthetic oil to form a custom lube thickness they want for their firearms (i.e. a drippy grease) .
