My wife's 09 Acadia only has 60k. I have followed a 5k OCI due to D.I. This last run on Mobil 1 5w30 there has been slight oil leakage. The plug and filter were tight. No obvious drop on the dipstick. Yesterday I changed to Mobil 1 High Mileage. On impulse, I bought 10w30 instead of 5w30. I'm thinking the low Noack of the 10w may be a good thing for DI. I live in the Dallas area so temps are already warm. Opinions?

Where is it leaking from?
My Cadillac has multiple small leaks. It leaked the worst with Mobil 1 5w30 and I swapped to Castrol Magnatec 5w30, which is a blend, but Dexos approved, and my garage floor has been practically spotless ever since. Obviously your experience may differ.
I'm not sure where the leak is from. Couldn't see anything from under the car.
If the M1 doesn't do it, maybe Maxlife next time ...
I almost got. Maxlife for it, as I use Maxlife in our 01 Escape at 222k. I remembered that some people here think M1 high mileage is one of their best oils. It was also on roll back at Walmart.
Just keep in mind that Mobil 1 High Mileage is only API SL approved for vehicles 2004 and older.
You are right. I went out and checked the bottle, only SL approved. Think I will switch to something else next time.

No, no longer in warranty.
Get a UV dye kit and light to find the leak, High Mileage oil is a hail Mary pass for leaks IMO.
