I couldn't endorse a standalone stop-leak here, but have no problem recommending a fully-formulated product that meets varies industry standards: http://www.valvolinechemicals.com/productdisplay/maxlife-power-steering-fluid-stop-leak
This is what I use in most vehicles, and it does a great job; available on the local auto parts store shelf.

The car takes atf; does it matter? How about Napa / CRC Steer-Aid?

Maxlife *might* be an option if you're selling it with disclaimers but if you want to keep it you should fix it properly..
In the same way that you don't wait for an infected cut to become gangrenous but take antibiotics to solve the problem, so you shouldn't wait until your rack fails completely but fix it now before it gets worse.

Is it weeping or dripping? Racks can go on for many miles with the former.

Yes, I know; it's completely suitable for your application. Again, I can't endorse a standalone stop-leak here. A complete fluid exchange with the Valvoline MaxLife Power Steering Fluid would be my first step, but the decision is entirely your call. Good luck!
One of the very few Lucas products that might work is their Power Steering stop leak.
ATP 205 is the best chance you have. If that doesn't fix it your going to be in for a new rack which is probably an $800 job

+3 ^^ I will be the third guy here to swear by ATP 205. I've used it on 3 vehicles with satisfactory results. As I recollect, the label on ATP 205 wants you to use it by about a 1/3 mixture in a PS setup. Use a turkey baster to suck enough fluid out to make room for the 205, and after installing, give it a few days to work. I think I actually ended up with about 1/2 full of ATP; but it worked. Yes, it is meant for rubber seals, and no, I doubt you have Teflon PS seals unless you drive a Delorean.
