Sleep Number Bed?

I have one Pablo and I really like it. It was recommended by 2 different Chiropractors to me as the best bed for your muscles and spine. What I did was contact the company itself, not the stores at the mall or wherever, and they sold me a refurbished one at the time for $600. That was on a bed that retailed for over $1000. All the parts that your skin touches is new, the only refurbished parts are the air bladder itself and the pump, plus you still get the same warranty as a brand new one. Which I think is 20 years. The only thing you need to be careful about is the pillow top. They are hand made and if one gets destroyed they are $376 to replace. My dog carried a cup of coffee in his mouth and dumped it on my bed. So I took the pillow top to the cleaners and they melted it in the dryer. They paid me for it but its still a warning for you. Good bed and I would recommend it.

Yes, go for it Pablo!

We broke down and bought a Tempur-pedic after trying all sorts of beds. The Sleep Number just wasn't all that and the prices have not come down - the Sleep Number was $3400+. We looked at the foam clones, and the foam just isn't the same, or layered the same. We got a screaming deal, they are including those nice pillows, all the extras, and will drag off the old junker mattress for no charge.

Place wouldn't take cash or check, I mean they would have, but it was like a major hassle for them. Weird stuff - but hey I'll take the cc points.

Let us know how it turns out! I'm in the market for a new bed also and have been contemplating the sleep number aswell. When I tried a tempur pedic, I sunk way too far into it and I like to roll around alot. I was also concerned about it holding in heat, but I bought one of their pillows and it's holding up well many years later.
