I remember way back discussions on waxing. Bringing car to local place to get Simonized as the professional version, not Turtle Wax Paste in the driveway.

Driving home from work today. I didn't really know it was still out there. That and Gliptone.

I remember the yellow metal can simoniz came in....used it back in the 70/80's once and it was terrible to use - wiping off took all your strength and many rags. I think it was almost pure carnuaba without any additives to soften it up. This was when I made the switch to Meguire's professional products. Then in the late 90's I switched again to Groit's products and have been using them since.

They use this in Russell Speeder car wash I use. I saw that type of truck delivering product. I do have to admit it results in a great shine. I have used this place for 8 years. I do use other spray ceramic coatings but really don’t see any difference. Required photo.

growing up simoniz was just about the gold standard in the car wash industry. I have even used their floor care/sanitation products back at past and present jobs.
