"HID Attitude" says it all... and word is they are selling these for $60 a pair. $60!

A ricer kid (likely the only people who would buy these) could get a decent HID kit for cheaper than this (not a recommended course either). What a silly product. So far these are available online, and at AAP.

Wait Two things don't add up. Weren't the original Silverstars have Xenon gas already? Also, the Sylvania Xtravisons have Xenon gas so, I guess it is the same light bulb with the silver coating outside?
Stick with the Xtravision much, cheaper in a pack of 2!
Consumer advertising-what a gimmick!

I think bulb manufacturers are playing on the general public not understanding the difference between what color the light looks like when starting at the bulb vs. how much light is actually being put on the road.

What's even worse than blue headlights are the blue turn signal bulbs (in place of the amber bulbs). Or when someone has an amber bulb burn out, and they replace it with a clear one

they're supposed to be amber for a reason, people!

That reminds me of those bluish lights that sold for $10 a pair on eBay a decade back, you know, the ones that drew 100w each on a 55w circuit and were filled with "Xenon HID-Krypton Gas"
I bought a pair because I was an idiot back then, but I never used them and ended up tossing them because of the power draw.

Those are still all over eBay.

Personally...
I'd much rather have people buy these than the no-name blue "HID" bulbs sold on Ebay. At least these will be halfway decent.

The other day I saw an Expedition with christmas-light blue headlights. Not just a slight tint; these were way over the top.
