Fuchs TITAN ZH 4300 B Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid is this able to replace ATF-SP in auto box

as have access to it for a £1 per L

and hope to change my old Mitsubishi RVR 2.0TD auto gear box over to it any opinions received with thanks

I couldn't find much information on MAN M 3289 or the other specifications it is recommended for. However, Ford M2C204-A is described as follows:

Quote:
The material defined by this specification is a power assisted steering (PAS) fluid composed of high viscosity index PAO and hydrocracked base fluids and additives.

Not much information there, and this doesn't look like an SP-III compatible fluid. I personally wouldn't use it just to save a couple of quid. Hopefully others with more knowledge will chime in.

thanks for the input if no good will just use for the power steering then
would have liked to change the transmission oil as has not been done that I can see and has done over 68,000 miles and fully synthetic looked good

Some other spec numbers if that helps ?

Fuchs ATF 4400 covers nearly all Japanese auto trans fluids including SP-3....but in our Mitsi dealership we still use SP-3 for Mitsi.
