Silicone Anti-Drain Back Valves

Does the silicone anti-drain back valve as used in some brands of oil filters contribute to the silicon reading that shows up on a Used Oil Analysis Report? Are we blaming intake leaks or in some cases K & N's for something coming from the filter construction? It would seem logical that some of the silicone would be abraded and sent into circulation in the oil.

Some oils also use silicon compounds for anti-foam functionality.

The silicon shown on the analysis report can't tell the difference between silica (dirt), silicone from gaskets, etc., and silane anti-foam in the oil.
