Shower door adjustment

This shower door touches the fixed portion glass on the top but not the bottom. Its a frameless door held by 2 hinges one of which is pictured. I assume there is a gasket/cushion between the metal of the hinge and the glass door that needs replacing. I am thinking when the screws are loosened I can adjust the door a little.

Also need replacement of the original door seals to make it waterproof.

Can anyone ID the make/model?

The same type of frameless shower/tub surround will be installed in my bathroom. During shoping for the glass, I found the style to be ubiquitous with many manufacturers offering products. They all appeared to be similar or identical with only minor differences in function & appearence of hinges, handles, towel bars, etc.

The HOLCAM brand is the most common and may be what is in your home.

I'd think a shim on the lower hinge would take care of the alignment problem for you.

I can't speak for your specific hinge, but usually the screws can be loosened and the door adjusted. It should be a cutout in the door under the hinge and the door is held by pressure from the hinge.

I'd close the door, put a shim under the base just to maintain it's current height, and slightly loosen both the bottom and top and try to make the adjustment. Fair warning-there are a couple ways to cut the door for the hinge. If it's cut with the "ears" that wrap around the screws, it's possible to break the glass ears if you don't know what you're doing.
