One hundred per cent reliable tack driver.

Liking that Sig Ultra! How's it shoot?

Edit: Disregard I see now it's a 938, had one of those myself very familiar.

Some of you have heard me sing the praises of the 3rd generation S&W autos. I carried a 5906 (9mm stainless, 15+1) during my first combat deployment in a holster custom made by our parachute riggers.

I've got that 5906. And a 4506. I picked up this police turn in 5906 for $300.

The new one has lots of holster wear, particularly on the grip, but little use from the wear on the steel parts.

At the range yesterday, it proved to be accurate and utterly reliable as it went through several boxes of varied ammo, including some 25 year old lead ball rounds. Shown here after 250 rounds and in need of a cleaning.

Not the prettiest gun, but pretty is as pretty does and I plan to keep this one, just "have on hand" should I need a tough, reliable 9mm.

Another 3rd Gen S&W. A 4006. .40 caliber. 11 round magazines. Just got this one, which came with the original box and three magazines. Not sure how I feel about the Pachmayer aftermarket grip, but will shoot it today and then decide.

So, now, I've got a 5906, 9mm, this one, and a 4506 which is the big .45 caliber version.

All I need is the 1006, 10mm....

I've heard that. Uglier than sin but they have the industry best customer service and lifetime warranty. I learned on a HP. Great tool I leave in the shed/tackle box.

I do NOT like the Pachmayer.... it makes the grip too fat, even with my relatively large hands, and messes up my natural point of aim....

Ruger p90 .45

Ruger p95 9mm with 17 round mec gar magazine

S+W sheild in 9mm with N82 carry holster

Ruger lcp .380

Walther P22 .22

The p90 has ruger grips that were made i think by pachmayr. I just read that Astro14 does not like them. But i do for this gun, as the original grips were too slick. I agree it does add some bulk.

On the older side.

1862 Tower

U.S. revolver in .38 top break.

Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works .32 top break hammerless. With owl grips and trigger safety!

Anyone have a guess on the revolver age? I'm thinking the Hammerless .32 is around 1899. The other later.

On your Ruger, the Pachmayer makes it much better.

I've spent some time shooting a P90D in 9 mm. The factory grips were thin and slippery.

On my S&W though, they're too much.

Yes, a Practical in .40. I didn't like the looks of the wrap around Pachymyer (sp?) grip that came with it, so I replaced it with some cocobolo's that I picked up at Wanenmacher gun show, and put the pac grip on a 9mm FEG Hi Power.

FEG makes a good Hi Power, if you want to save a bit on a Browning. I meant to get a 9 mm Browning, but never got around to it.

My Sig P227. My only Sig (so far). .45 ACP. Fits 10+1 in the same size as a P220. Siglite sights.

Love the grip, the trigger, the accuracy, the reliability. This is a great gun.

Had it at the range Saturday. Great shooting pistol.

Hung the TLR-2 laser/flashlight on it.

Haven't had a chance to really do anything useful with the laser or the light, but like the idea of both.

Good grief, where are all the CZ fans?

CZ-75 SP-01 tactical in .40, and a Beretta 92L for fun.

Not a very good picture, and not all of them. They're all .40 S&W and I have 9mm barrels for a few of them. Bottom to top G27, G23, G22, G35, and "G24C".

The G24 is not a 'real' Glock. It is a G22 frame with a G24C slide and ported barrel from Lone Wolf. I'd always wanted a G24C and this was the closest I could get since real ones are hard to come by. All are Gen 3 (I prefer that generation)

The long slides are such good shooting guns, very enjoyable.
