I changed oil in my moms snow blower beginning of last winter (8hp Techumseh) and used Mobil 1 0w-30. It was used 2, maybe 3 times tops. Should I change it again this year, or just let it go? Wasn't sure if it sitting for a year would cause to much moisture and acid build up, or if its ok yet.

+1. I go two seasons on my OPE using Pennzoil Conventional 10w30, so that Mobil 1 should be good to go still.

You are just fine to leave it.

For what its worth, though, when the oil does get worn out, you should probably change it *before* storage, not right after you bring it out of storage.

That being said, I don't think you are anywhere close to being to the point where storing with the oil in there would hurt it. I think that would take *years*.
