I couldn't find a VOA for this so I had one done.
I'm going to be using this in my Carrier APU (Kubota engine) on my truck and wanted a baseline.
I'll be switching between this for winters and T6 5W-40 CK4 for summers.

Where did you find the 0W40? AAP?

Nope. Forester never leaves south Florida. Sticking with the M1. It's been working well for me. Local supplier is Advance Auto.

Yes. It appears that way. I'm a bit suspect of it though. It seems a bit low compared to the specs released by Shell.

I will also note that other posted UOAs show ~12.5 @ 100C. Considering that those samples were taken from degraded end of service life oil, I'm inclined to think that the 11.99 number on my VOA is an unexplained anomaly? FWIW Shell says it should be ~13.2 @ 100C, which would jive better with the posted UOA vs my VOA. YMMV....

The 0W40 VOA is almost identical to the 5W30 RT posted. 11.99 @ 100C falls short of the SAE 40 grade, and the minimum HTHS for 0W40 - 10W40 is suspect.

Only in KV100 is it similar. Additive package between Rotella T6 0w-40 & Rotella T6 Multi-vehicle 5w-30 is a lot different. Also, a 0w40 is usally formulated with thinner base oils than 5w30 here.
