Shell Rotella T 5W40

After reading about this stuff here, I'm thinking about trying this in my wife's VWs. For all you Chicagoland area people, what Walmart are you buying it at? My local Walmart doesn't carry it.

If your cars call for a 5W40 the Rotella T is a hard oil to beat. Take a look at some parts stores like Advance and Auto Zone, I never have seen one that did not have it in stock.

I use this oil for my truck: 99 S-10 4.3L V6 :The truck starts up fast as it did the day it was bought new with 114,000 miles on it and runs great. Not sure if that's because of the oil but probly due to me taking great care of it ... yah give it a try. It's cheap and with a supertech filter even cheaper.

Normally when I buy it I go all the way up to the Walmart in Racine. It's on 11, exit 335 or something.


I believe the walmart in Skokie has it, too. But I'm nto 100% sure.

I have seen this at almost any Walmart in the Chicago burbs. I buy mine in Bloomingdale or Algonquin.
