I would like to try Shell Rotella T 10w30 in my gas engine vehicles. One is a Chevrolet Silverado with the 5.3L V-8, and the second is a Hyundai Santa Fe with the 3.5L V-6. Does anyone else use this motor oil in gasoline engines, do you recommend it?

Yes, I use it in my 2008 Subaru Legacy GT. This oil was recommended by Terry Dyson over some of the best synthetics out there to provide the best wear protection given that Subaru turbo motors are prone to fuel dilution.

It's one of the best oils out there at any price. Use it with confidence.

I've heard a lot of people like to use it in their older, classic cars because it has a high zinc content along with some other good additives...

I use it in my old '66 289 Mustang, and my air-cooled v-twin Scag mower, and my son's ATV, and my rototiller, and so on ...

After seeing it's performance recently in my neighbors '05 PSD F-350, I'm going to start using it in my Dmax too.
