Other than the soot it seems like a god report. What is up thith the soot? Its out of control. How much is the stuff??

The soot levels have increased 10 times! Wear levels are double.

The shell helix ultra costs S$84 per 4 litres here. (US$48)

What part of "Ultra" am I missing. Ultra low on Moly or Ultra low on ZDDP. I think I'd rather put Pennzoil Dino in my Lamboghini!!

The additive levels are very similar to the older 15w50 SJ previously used. But notice the oxidation and nitration levels are at 0% & 5%, and the TBN still high. Almost like brand new condition.

I doubt it's sampling error either bcos I used the same method as for the previous analyses. i.e. collect sample midstream during oil drain.

Thats such a interesting oil , the blend of bases used ect .

It would be very interesting to see this oil ran in a couple other engines using USA gasoline .

It's available in the USA in 55 gallon drums . Works out to a little over 4 bucks a quart

I doubt we will ever get to use an OTC oil similar to this base oil but the new EOP from Shell we might !
