My family has always opened 1 gift Christmas eve. My mom always had a "Gag" gift.i have kept that tradition going.

My wife was bugging me to open a gift last night so I gave her the gag gift. She unwrapped this.

I got a new scope for my Marlin 25N. .22lr
A Vortex Crossfire II.. not a big $$$ scope but it had an old tasco pronghorn 3-9 on it.

Oddly enough its on sale super cheap on amazon right now.. if anyone else is looking for a decent scope (obviously this is relative)

Always hard to get a really nice, expensive gift for the significant other. Year after year, I dither over what to get and it has become a real chore to get her something she uses. I told my friend about this and said to him that last year I spent over $6000 on a gift that she still hasn;t used! He asked me what I got her.
