Service Champ OF4622 cut open unknown miles

Came off a New to me 2014 Acura RLX with 204k miles total.
This is the smaller Subaru sized filter PH6607 equivalent

Previous owner told me ... "it's due for an oil change"
The oil life monitor was at 50%
I think the filter says November 25th 2024 for the date code?
Welp he wasn't lying.
Oil was DARK

Nitrile ADBV was stiff and was stuck in position after I pinched it.

Pleats had some silt on them which I rubbed onto my finger for the photo.

Even though the thing is not pretty, it seemed to do its job and caught some stuff.

I put on an Ecogard X4610 and Castrol Edge 5w30 HM and will do a 3k OCI.

Based on how dark the oil is and the stiff ADBV it must have been ran quite awhile. Those are interesting fiber end caps. Date code probably is Nov 25, 2024.
