The link is legit, it goes to the Kim Kommando page. There is good info there and a link to a legit free tool to help stop Crypto Locker from running on your computer.
An easy way to prevent it and others is to uncheck "Allow Remote Assistance to this computer" under "system properties", "remote" tab.
And another good tid-bit is to uninstall Java. Most people do not need it these days. It seems to have a constant stream of serious holes/flaws. You can always reinstall it if you find you absolutely need it.
